Direct Lender

Omega IM Group is a subsidiary of a publicly traded company, Omega Commercial Finance Corp which us brings the ability to be a direct lender. We lend our own capital or other funds capital as a correspondent lender or we can syndicate capital with other lenders. The benefits to our clients are lower rates, lower fees and quicker closing times.

Insurance Premium Capital Markets Program

Omega’s Insurance Capital Markets Program is designed to assist agents, BGAs, and wealth management advisors expand their asset protection and estate planning insurance products and services. Our solution is designed for insurance policy seekers that are approved for premium finance funding. Consequently, their requirement to pay the interest on borrowed funds is mitigated within our program by delivering annual dividend-income to the policyholder. What makes this such a solid structure for the clients are twofold; (i) they will have the protection of their investment secured by our financing of commercial short to mid-term property loans, which are pre-sold to CMBS securitization firms prior to Omega funding the loans. Hence Omega in this particular situation, acting as a Correspondent Lender, will simultaneously sell these loans at the closing table. This allows Omega to turn over the loans every 3-days, which also mitigates the risk of holding the assets on the Balance Sheet for an extended period of time. Consequently, this provides Omega its liquidity to meet any redemption needs for the insurance capital markets product. This program entails a streamlined process that effectively provides agents all the necessary assistance coupled with efficient procedures from start to finish as described below:

  • The agent presents the approved line of credit along with an application from the beneficiary.
  • Omega reviews application and then issues a suitable questionnaire to determine if the client is eligible for the program.
  • The beneficiary, through the agent, is sent a subscription agreement detailing Omega’s structured product and fixed investment terms.
  • Upon application approval a closing shall occur within five (5) business days.

Our Process Is A Vital Component Of Providing Excellent Client Service

In striving for excellence in client service, Omegaim Group has several teams to support our lending effort and your loan will go thru these support teams to expedite your funding request. These seven teams are:

Loan Origination & Submission

Origination: Our Account Executive (AE) works with you to put together a loan product that works for you and your project. Your AE is your anchor thru the process we have set up for you. You AE will coordinate with you and keep you abrupt of everything along the way.

Loan Submission: Our submission team works with the AE to ensure that all pre-submission documents are prepared and communicated with the client so that the loan can achieve a 2 – 3 week closing time frame on No Doc Stated and hard Money Loans and achieve a 30 – 45 day closing time on all other loans.

Loan Processing & Underwriting

Processing: Our processing team works with the AE and client in gather the right documents for the type of loan the client has and prepares a file for underwriting.

Underwriting: Once the file is processed it is forwarded on to the underwriting team for final review. Our underwriters are solution minded and work diligently with all parties to overcome challenges that can arise in loan files to find solutions.

Funding, Closing & Capital Markets

Funding: Once your loan has completed underwriting review the file is then sent to our funding department to ready the file for closing. This department works with our parent public company and capital markets on capital allocations for your loan.

Closing: Our closing team works on coordinating the closing of the loan with various legal departments as well as work with our Funding and Capital markets teams.

Capital Markets: Our capital markets team works with our parent company which is a publicly traded company along with various funds etc that we work with on capital allocation, pricing and funding of loans.
